General Terms and Conditions...Yes of course there are. There always are.

 

 

It may happen from time to time that items in your cart are out of stock or on their way from our suppliers. In this case, we will contact you via email and notify you of any delay and give you an estimated delivery time. If this is not suitable, we will give you an immediate, full refund (it's the only reason we do) and our sincerest apologies.

 

Actual Shipping times will vary and are an estimation only. Please see our "Shipping & Exchange Policy" for more information.

 

The sale shall be completed only when the payment has been processed fully and Firehorse Brand has received the money. If payment fails of any reason, the sale is not effected. Duh.

No Refunds: Nope. Sorry. We don't do those. Please see our "Shipping & Exchange Policy" for more information.

 

Firehorse Brand retains all copyright to information, images, and logos on our website. Any reproduction, publication and / or exploitation of the protected property without the prior written consent is expressly prohibited by Firehorse Brand.

 

 
Shipping and Exchange Policy:
 
Shipping

 

Firehorse Brand does not have a physical store. We are an online store and deliver nationwide. We do not allow for order collections.

 

We do not ship to P.O. Boxes, farms or rural areas.

 

It is mandatory to leave a day time telephone number for us to contact you during delivery hours (Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm).

 

All goods in transit are insured.

 

Shipping costs are based on the sub-total cart value of your order. 

 

Firehorse Brand reserves the right to amend shipping costs at any time. 

 

Delivery

Delivery time is based on our best efforts - we aim to get your goodies to you as soon as possible. Expect your order to arrive in under 7 days. 

We do not allow splitting of orders.

Should a package not be delivered through no fault of ours (for eg: no-one on premises/unable to answer calls/invalid or incomplete address), we will attempt a second delivery after which if the package is not delivered you will be liable for all additional costs associated with delivering the package to you. Should you want a refund as a result of these failed attempts, you will be refunded the purchase price of the goods less the shipping cost charged and R50 restocking fee. Ouch!

 

Exchanges

If you are really unhappy with your Firehorse Brand purchase because it is faulty or defective, the product is eligible for exchange. Please notify us of the incorrect/damaged/ broken product within 72 hours of receipt of the good.  

Please note that items arriving after a 7 working day exchange deadline will not be accepted and will be returned to sender.

Exchange requests will be approved at the discretion of Firehorse Brand: 

Send us an email stating the reason for exchange as well as including clear pictures; if your exchange is approved by the Firehorse Brand team; we will email you a completed pdf document for you to print, sign and put in the package you return. An exchange cannot be processed without this printed, signed document. Only once approved will the exchange be processed.

We are unable to accept exchanges for goods that are used and not in their original packaging.

Exchanged items will be subject to a re-shipping fee of R30. This will need to be paid to us, with proof of payment emailed to us before the exchange is shipped back to you. Please use your order number as payment reference.

Once received, we aim to process all within 2 weeks. Should you have any queries please email us. We will ensure the correct/new product is delivered to you quickly and painlessly.

Blik is a line of self-adhesive wall decals that were created by and for people who like to change their mind. Blik is a great alternative to Wallpaper, paint or stencils and the DIY nature of Blik let's you be the artist and create your own wall art. Within minutes, you can transform the look of a living or office space: Choose your space, plan the design you'd like to make, and literally, just peel and stick. And when you're tired of your design, say after years, a month, maybe a day – The decals are removable.

 

I know all Blik products are removable, but how long will the decals stay up?​

Blik is perfect for temporary applications but if you take care of it, it will last for years. Indoors, Blik will last 2 to 3 years easily. Do try to keep your Blik design away from direct sunlight as heat can release the adhesive and can cause the decals to peel up. Outdoors, Blik graphics will last 1 to 2 years.

What is Blik made from?

Blik is made from an ultra-thin, self adhesive matte vinyl film. Blik Re-Stil is made from a slightly thicker, self adhesive, polypropylene film.

What is the difference between the Original line of Blik wall decals and Blik Re-Stik?

All Blik products are removable but Blik Re-Stik decals are re-positionable, so you can use then over and over. Original Blik is made from a very thin vinyl film, once removed from the wall, the decals cannot be reused. The beauty of Original Blik is that people will think that you spent hours painting your design when in reality it took only minutes to apply. Blik Re-Stik is made from a slightly thicker material with a very low tack adhesive backing that lets you remove and move the decals again and again. You can even take the decals with you when you move as long as you save the white paper backing they come on. Keep the adhesive backing free of dust, fibers or dirt to extend the Re-Stik life span.

 

    APPLICATION TIPS: WHAT TO DO AND WHAT NOT TO DO

    I've got my Blik, Now what do I do?

    Congratulations! First, Read the instructions. Yes, Blik is easy to apply but reading the instructions will save you time and potential errors. Also, check out our fun “How To” Installation videos. But Basically, plan your design and start Blik-ing.

    Will blik work on walls?

    No, it depends on the texture. Smooth surfaces like drywall are the best. If your wall is rough, bumpy or newly painted, Blik may not adhere properly. Wipe your walls down with a dry cloth to remove any dust or those cobwebs hanging out in the corner.

    Will blik adhere to All paints?

    No, it depends on the texture. Smooth surfaces like drywall are the best. If your wall is rough, bumpy or newly painted, Blik may not adhere properly. Wipe your walls down with a dry cloth to remove any dust or those cobwebs hanging out in the corner.

    Will blik adhere to textured surfaces?

    Smooth surfaces are best. Even lightly textured surfaces such as orange peel texture can prevent the decals from adhering. If your walls are slightly textured, we recommend the Blik Re-Stik line of movable graphics.

    Is Blik easy to remove? If so, How?

    Removal is easy. Peel up an edge with your fingernail and slowly peel the decal off the wall. If you've applied Blik to a less porous surface like glass, we recommend that you use a hairdryer (set on a low heat) to warm the decal, this releases the adhesive and makes it easier to peel off.

    Will Blik leave a residue when removed? Or take off the paint?

    No, Blik won't leave any goo on your wall when removed. Since we cannot guarantee the condition of all wall surfaces, we cannot say across the board that some paint flecking will not occur. You may notice paint flecks on the back of the decals when removed and some minor paint touch up's may be required.
